French alcohol law affects media and ad markets

The biggest French anti-alcohol lobby has had a great start to 2008, with two groundbreaking judgments in its favour handed down in the last month. The first curbs the right of journalists to write about alcoholic drinks, and the second effectively bans drinks promotion on the internet.
